1. Registration & Tuition
• All students must be registered online AND HAVE A PHYSICAL ACTIVITY WAIVER AND PHOTO RELEASE FORM SIGNED (see form above) before participating in classes.
• Tuition is due on the first of each month. Late payments (ON the 8th) will incur a 25% late fee.
• Tuition is non-refundable including but not limited to registration fees, tuition, recital fee, competition fees, ticket costs, etc.
• Multi-class and sibling discounts are available.
• Monthly installments are due regardless of students missing class, holidays, vacation, etc.
• If for any reason it becomes necessary to withdraw a student from a class, please notify the studio by written notice immediately. Tuition will continue to be billed until written notice is received.
2. Attendance & Make-Up Classes
• Consistent attendance is essential for student progress and choreography.
• If a dancer must miss a class, please notify the studio in advance via email or text.
• Make-up classes may be scheduled within the same month, space permitting.
3. Dress Code
• Dancers must follow the dress code for their specific class style (see Dress code on right).
• Hair should be pulled back securely away from the face.
• No loose jewelry, gum, or street shoes in the dance space.
4. Studio Etiquette
• Arrive 10 minutes early, ready to dance.
• Respect all instructors, fellow dancers, and the space.
• Phones must be silenced and stored away during class.
• Food and drinks (other than water) are not allowed inside the studio.
5. Communication
• All important updates are shared via email and posted on our website.
• Please check weekly for class announcements or changes.
• Private conversations with instructors should be scheduled before or after class times.
6. Class Cancellations & Weather
• In case of inclement weather, we follow the local school district’s closures and will notify families via email and social media.
• If the studio cancels a class, a make-up will be offered or a credit applied.
7. Recital & Performances
• Participation in performances is encouraged but not required.
• Costume fees and performance details will be communicated well in advance.
• All dancers are expected to attend mandatory rehearsals leading up to performances.
• All accounts must be current in order to participate in the recital and receive tangible items such as costumes, recital packets, t-shirts, etc.
8. Safety & Supervision
• Dancers under 12 must be picked up promptly after class.
• No dancer is allowed to leave the building without a parent/guardian unless written permission is provided.
• The studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
9. Photo & Video Policy
• The studio may take photos or videos for educational and promotional purposes.
• Please let us know if you do not wish for your dancer to be included in any media.
• Sign the Waiver/Photo Release form provided above (REQUIRED)
10. Code of Conduct
• Bullying, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
• We foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all dancers.
General Guidelines
• Layers allowed for warm-up only.
• No jeans, skirts, or non-dance shoes.
• Label all shoes and dancewear.
• No gum or dangling jewelry in class.
• Respect dress codes—it helps keep dancers safe and focused.
Ballet
• Ages 3–5: Optional colored leotard, tights, and ballet slippers. Optional ballet skirt. Hair in a bun or secure style.
• Ages 6+: Optional colored leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers. Hair in a bun or pulled out of face. Skirts optional.
• Boys: White or black fitted shirt, black shorts or tights, black or white ballet slippers.
Jazz
• Fitted tank top or leotard, leggings or jazz pants.
• Black jazz shoes.
• Hair pulled back off the face.
• No baggy clothing or jewelry.
Contemporary / Lyrical
• Leotard or dance top, leggings or dance shorts.
• Barefoot, half-soles, or lyrical shoes.
• Hair pulled back securely.
